  • Support regional and global mission work
  • Create Personal Hygiene Packages for the South King County Multi-service Center
  • Work at the Giving Tree at Christmas in the Commons Mall
  • Provide socks and underwear for children in need at a local elementary school
  • Hold food drives for My Sister's Pantry and our own members
  • Provide funds for the Pastor's Emergency Fund for persons requesting assistance of our church
United Methodist Women
Our women's group is an organized unit of United Methodist Women. It is a community of women whose purpose is:
  • to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ
  • to develop a creative, supportive fellowship
  • to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
SASSY (Saturday Afternoon Stuff at Sunrise with You)
knitting needles and yarn
We set aside time every second Saturday from 1:00 - 5:00 pm at the church for men, women and kids of all ages to come and work on their projects away from home, possibly learn something new and to socialize.

In addition to working on sewing and other crafts, we've had cooking demonstrations, scrapbooking parties, and discussions regarding our faith journeys, family life, and planning opportunities for other events.

We meet in the classroom on the first floor. Come for part of the time or the whole time. We encourage folks to bring a light fingerfood snack to share. Children of all ages are welcome but must be supervised by their parent and/or grandparent as we currently do not provide childcare.

If you have any questions, please contact Marcie Bogdan. You can contact her through the church office.
Esther Circle
This group of adult-only women meets every second Saturday of the month. The group offers an opportunity to engage in meaningful fellowship while breaking bread together.

The group meets at Black Bear Restaurant (32065 Pacific Highway South) at 8:00 am. All women are welcome to join in this gathering. Each member pays for their own meal.
